AS SANÇÕES CONTRA A UNITA SÃO UM CRIME E DEVEM FINDAR O MAIS RÁPIDO POSSÍVEL... TEXTO 169 DESTA 3ª GUERRA CIVIL QUE O ENG. JOSÉ EDUARDO DOS SANTOS IMPÔS QUEM COMEÇOU A 3ª GUERRA CIVIL EM ANGOLA FOI O REGIME DE LUANDA, AFIRMAM OS 5 PERITOS DAS NAÇÕES UNIDAS! A PAZ VIRÁ!(XXVII)
"A comunidade internacional poderia Ter algum papel na paz? - Deve tirar férias" Rafael Marques, in DN 25.04.2001 Por natureza, sou um optimista. Vivi a luta pela Independência com optimismo, 1992 com optimismo e vivo hoje com optimismo. Mas um optimismo de combate e persistência. Ensinaram-me tal os meus Pais. Perde-se hoje, luta-se para ganhar amanhã. Por isso entendo que a Paz virá, breve, para os Angolanos. Em 1973 disseram-me, na cadeia de Caxias, " Angola é Portugal, você perdeu". Não perdi. Angola era Independente em 1975. Mal independente, mas independente. Em 1975 disseram-me "Angola acabou para ti, os soviéticos ganharam uma nova colónia e não a irão perder.". Disse na altura, "Irei morrer, que seja, a Angola". Não perdi, entretanto. A UNITA derrotou a aliança imperial russo/cubana, ( e americana até ao período Reagan...) e em 1991 iniciava-se um novo período, com Bicesse. Em 1992 disseram, "Esquece definitivamente Angola, perdeste". Chegou Lusaka, porque a UNITA resistiu. Não perdi. Em 1998 disseram-me, "Perdeste, a UNITA e o teu Presidente desaparecerão". Não perdi. Nem a UNITA nem o dr Jonas Malheiro Savimbi perderam. Por isso digo hoje - A Paz Virá! Agora, neste tempo em que vivo, também, portanto, para mim. Angola, entretanto, mudou muito. Para melhor nas mentalidades. As novas gerações têm outra forma de ver o Mundo e Angola. Para pior em tudo o restante. Não existe economia em Angola, para além do petróleo e dos diamantes. Não existe Saúde em Angola, para praticamente ninguém. Não existe Habitação em Angola para a imensa maioria dos Angolanos. Não existe Educação em Angola para a imensa maioria dos Angolanos. Nas cidades, regressamos ao tempo dos campos de concentração, ou de refugiados se o quiserem chamar assim, verdadeiros escudos humanos impostos por "estrategas militares" estrangeiros, que entendem assim copiar as estratégias portuguesas dos anos 60, mas sem entenderem sequer que tal era um elemento de uma panóplia de outros e não o elemento que conduzisse à vitória, a uma qualquer vitória militar. Nos campos existem os bombardeamentos a napalm. Miséria e Morte é hoje Angola. Imposta a 5 de Dezembro de 1998 pelo eng. Dos Santos com o apoio da Comunidade Internacional que, a par dos campos de concentração, impõe as Sanções à UNITA. Hoje, mas não para sempre. Por isso sou optimista. Apostemos na Mudança - a que se iniciou já, a das mentalidades. Apostemos na Resistência - a da UNITA que não foi derrotada, bem pelo contrário e a da oposição civil das cidades. São os dois elementos força que farão a Mudança. A Paz, a Democracia e o Desenvolvimento. A Sociedade Angolana, praticamente toda ela quer Paz. O sr Gambari sentiu tal e apelou a uma Conferência de Paz. Mas os interesses gritaram mais alto e o sr Gambari recuou - já não quer a Paz, "preferiu delegar tal responsabilidade aos angolanos", diz o Diário Digital de 29.04.2001. Mas, mantendo as sanções faz um acto de delegação imoral, porque beneficia um dos parceiros. E beneficia precisamente quem impôs a guerra, quem contrata os navios Anastasia para transportar armamento para Angola. E fá-lo sem mandato dos Angolanos. Ninguém em Angola o transformou em mandante. Que tire féria então, é verdade. Mas tal, não é suficiente. Porque andam por aí as polícias mercenárias, ( já tinhamos tido os soldados mercenários e era preciso inventar as polícias mercenárias...), a Kroll. A mandato do sr Gambari? Sim. Que tire férias de todo. Que ponha termo à ilegalidade que são as sanções à UNITA e aos seus membros. E não fale em Direitos Humanos nem no seu escritório em Angola de "direitos humanos", pois tal é a sua vergonha. A Paz Virá. Feita pelos Angolanos. Contra dos Santos e contra a comunidade internacional, mas a favôr dos Angolanos. E estes, em Angola, é que contam. Porque Resistem. Nas cidades e nos campos, com a Resistência possível, a que lhes deixaram para fazer. Não por amôr à Violência, mas por amôr à Vida. Basta ler os 12 pontos de Paz apresentados pela UNITA. Basta ler a entrevista recentemente dada pelo Presidente da UNITA. É um direito que nos assiste, amar a nossa Vida. Eis porque, baseado nesse Direito, sou optimista. A Paz Virá, neste Tempo. Com o dr Jonas Malheiro Savimbi, com os Resistentes, a UNITA, as FALA, e com os que nas cidades Resistem, também por amarem a Vida. Teremos, então, uma Economia, uma Saúde, uma Educação para dar aos nossos Filhos e Filhas. Feito, tudo, no respeito por nós próprios, com Tolerância e Democracia. O resto é conversa. struggle for Peace? - it should go on holidays." I' m a natural optimist. I lived through the fight for Independence with optimism. Through the year of 1992 with optimism. And I live through today with optimism I fight and endure with optimism. My Parents taught me that. I may loose a fight and leave today just so I can come back to win another day. I believe Peace will come soon to all the Angolan people. When I was locked up in jail, in Caxias, in 1973, I was told "Angola is Portugal and you've lost". I haven't lost. Angola gained its independence in 1975. Ill independent, but independent nevertheless. In 1975 I was told "Angola is over for you. The Soviets have won a new colony and they're not going to let it go that easily". Back then, I answered, "I will at least die in Angola." I didn't loose. UNITA defeated the imperial alliance Russian/Cuban (and American up to the Reagan period...) and in 1991 it started a new period with Bicesse. In 1992 I was told, "You can definitely forget Angola, you've lost". Lusaka came because UNITA resisted. I didn't loose. In 1998 I was told "You've lost, UNITA and your president are going down" Neither UNITA nor Dr. Jonas Malheiro Savimbi lost. I didn't loose. That's why I feel in the right to claim - Peace Will Come! Right now, in my time and for me as well. Angola as been through many changes. Changes for better in he minds. The new generations have anew way of seeing the World and Angola. For the worst in everything else. There's no economy in Angola besides oil and diamonds business. There's Health in Angola, for practically anyone. There's no Habitation for most Angolans. There's no Education in Angola for most of the people. In the cities we're going back to the times of concentration camps, or refugees. Human shields imposed by foreign "military strategies" that copy the Portuguese strategies of the 60's. They do it without understanding that it worked as an armour and not as an element that lead to victory, any military victory In the camps there's napalm bombings. The Angola of today is Liberty and Death. A condition imposed on the 5th of December of 1998 by Eng. Dos Santos with the support of the International Community that imposes sanctions on UNITA, besides of the concentration camps. That's the Angola of Now, not the Angola of Forever. That is why I'm optimist. W can bet on Change - the one that's already started with the mentalities. We can bet of resistance - the undefeated Resistance of UNITA and the civil opposition in the cities. These are two of the elements that shall bring Change, Peace, Democracy and Development. Practically all of the Angolan society desires Peace. Having felt that, Mr. Gambari appealed for a Peace Conference. But the powers that be screamed louder and Mr. Gambari stepped back - he no longer wants Peace. He "preferred to delegate such a responsibility on the Angolan people", according to the Digital Journal of 29. 04. 2001. But by maintaining the sanctions he has committed an act of immoral delegation for he is benefiting one of the parties. The one that imposed the war, that hires Anastasia ships to transport weaponry to Angola. It's doing it without the authorisation of the Angolan people. No one in Angola granted it the powers to do so. So let it go on holidays. But it isn't enough, The mercenary police is around (we already had the mercenary troops, now we need a mercenary police) and it's called KROLL. Is it there under Mr. Gambari's mandate? The answer is Yes. Let it all go on holidays. End the illegal sanctions on UNITA and it's members. Don't speak of Human Rights or of the "human rights" office it holds in Angola. That would mean complete embarrassment, wouldn't it? Peace will come Against the will of dos Santos and all the International Community and for the Angolan people. That's the opinion that counts the one of the people. Because they prevail. In the cities and fields of Possible Resistance, they prevail with out they were allowed to do. Not for the Love of Violence. But for the Love of Life. Just read the 12 items in UNITA's Peace proposal. Just read the interview recently given by the President of UNITA. One of our rights is the one to Love our Life. Based on that right, I feel optimistic. Peace Will Come, in this Time. It will include Dr. Jonas Malheiro Savimbi, the Resistance, the FALA, those who Prevail in the cities, for the Love of Life Then we will have Economy, Health and education for our sons and daughters.
