MEMORANDUM ON NON-COMPLIANCE BY THE MPLA 1975-1998

CARTA ABERTA AOS POVOS DE EXPRESSÃO PORTUGUESA

AS SANÇÕES CONTRA A UNITA SÃO UM CRIME E DEVEM FINDAR O MAIS RÁPIDO POSSÍVEL... 

TEXTO 168 DESTA 3ª GUERRA CIVIL QUE O ENG. JOSÉ EDUARDO DOS SANTOS IMPÔS QUEM COMEÇOU A 3ª GUERRA CIVIL EM ANGOLA FOI O REGIME DE LUANDA, AFIRMAM OS 5 PERITOS DAS NAÇÕES UNIDAS! 

KABILA JR,"BOCA DE ALUGUER"...(XXVI) 

A adulteração da Lei, em Angola, (ainda), aos apetites do mpla do sr eng. José Eduardo dos Santos, continua, dramaticamente. 

Também dramaticamente, as denúncias destes atropelos continuam a ser feitos somente por alguns, enquanto que uma parte da dita comunidade internacional se mantém em silêncio, assistindo ao combate pela Paz e a Democracia em Angola, com uma pseudo neutralidade que põe em causa a Democracia no Mundo. 

A larga maioria dos Deputados da Oposição Angolana souberam, por exemplo, não estar presentes durante a sessão da Assembleia Nacional Angolana, de recepção ao sr Kabila Jr, em protesto pelo facto de o dito "presidente da república angolana", nunca eleito, os querer forçar a receber um dirigente também nunca eleito, o senhor Kabila Jr. 

Esta atitude de força, de exigência de respeito por uma Casa que se pretende que represente os Angolanos, originou várias respostas. O mpla optou por "encher" a sala Plenária da Assembleia Nacional Angolana de funcionários da Assembleia para, assim, escamotear este boicote dos partidos da Oposição a uma exigência do dito "presidente da república". 

Este último aplaudiu, obviamente, este comportamento de submissão do mpla e impôs a Kabila, a sua também Boca de Aluguer, como lhe chamam os Angolanos, que lesse o discurso que mais lhe convinha - o da justificação de uma guerra onde os Angolanos estão fora do que a Lei Nacional exige, pois a invasão da RDC pelas tropas de dos Santos foi feita ilegalmente. 

A Comunidade Internacional, que continua a teimar em impôr sanções ilegais e imorais à UNITA, que alimentam esta 3ª guerra civil em Angola, optou pelo silêncio. Mais uma vez o silêncio. 

Tal qual fez e faz em face de raptos de crianças, como sucedeu com o filho do dr Jonas Malheiro Savimbi, Ululi Sakaita, hoje em Luanda, na miséria. Tal qual faz, em face dos bombardeamentos a napalm, sobre as aldeias dos Angolanos. Tal qual faz, em face da Miséria em que vivem os Angolanos, miséria imposta por um regime corrupto e doente, o regime do eng. dos Santos. Democracia em Angola? 

Democracia que se autojustifica com "salas cheias", na Assembleia Nacional Angolana, de funcionários, em vez de com salas cheias de Deputados? Não é possível continuarmos a alimentarmos mais esta situação. 

Nem o próprio mpla pode continuar a aceitar continuar a ser o capacho de um não eleito, corrupto e degradador da Imagem do País. A Assembleia Nacional Angolana confrontou-se com uma Resolução que abria as portas políticas para o necessário Diálogo entre Angolanos. 

Também aqui o mpla seguiu o "chefe" e silenciou o debate com uma "comissão" feita para atirar para as calendas o essencial - a exigência de um Diálogo imediato, que permita o caminhar-se para a Paz, para a Democracia e para o Desenvolvimento da Pátria. Cabe, cada vez mais, ao mpla, definir-se - está do lado do "chefe", do ditador, da corrupção, da destruição do País, ou quer, como a imensa maioria de Angola quer, um novo rumo para a Pátria? 

Estar, continuar, do lado do "chefe" significará, a prazo, a autodestruição do mpla. E essa autodestruição do mpla em nada beneficiará o combate político, que se quer democrático, entre os Angolanos. O "chefe", esse, não está preocupado com tal. Visivelmente, pouco se importa com a destruição do partido que diz liderar. Mas o mpla, esse, também não se importa com a sua destruição? 

O mpla, esse, pretende, mesmo, o suicídio? Por estranho que pareça, tudo continua a indicar que sim, apesar de vozes saudáveis que caminham para a critica do "chefe", a par de toda a restante Oposição. 

O mpla a continuar este caminho de tudo aceitar, de se baixar a todos estes fingimentos internacionais, mantidos com o dispêndio, inútil, da Riqueza de Angola, por via de enormes gastos em "campanhas de marketing", desaparecerá com a queda do regime de Luanda. Pretendem tal os seus membros? 

É hoje completamente visível, até para os que como eu se encontram na Diáspora, que a UNITA resiste e resistindo tem aberto o caminho da Democracia em Angola. Que o seu combate, em nome de uma autêntica Democracia, se reforça dia a pós dia. Com ou sem sanções, a Democracia acontecerá em Angola. 

Perante tal, quer mesmo o mpla este suicídio inútil, como seu caminho de futuro? Não quer salvar-se ainda, juntando-se aos que lutam e resistem em prol da Democracia? Destruindo a Ditadura que o manieta, tanto quanto entrava o Progresso de Angola? 

Estranha esta Cultura do mpla... Esperava-se mais deste partido, nestes dias de Mudança.

5 UN EXPERTS STATE THAT IT WAS THE LUANDA REGIME THAT STARTED THE 3rd CIVIL WAR IN ANGOLA!

Dramatically the adulterations of the Law in Angola are still made according to the appetite of the MPLA and Eng. Eduardo dos Santos. What is also dramatic is that these situations are being exposed by only a small group of people, while a great part of the International Community stays silent, watching the combat for Peace and Democracy in Angola from a pseudo-neutral point of view that questions World Democracy itself. 

The large majority of the Deputies of the Angolan Opposition weren't present during the National Assembly session where Sr. Kabila Jr had his reception. They were protesting against the fact of the so-called "president of the Angolan Republic" forcing to receive a leader that had never been elected either. This attitude of strength and demand for respect from a House that supposedly represents the Angolan people originated several responses. 

The Mpla chose to fill the Plenary room of the National Angolan Assembly with employees of that assembly, in order to filch the boycott of the parties of the Opposition to a demand of the "president of the republic". 

The aforementioned president applauded the submit behaviour of the Mpla and had Kabila "mouth for rent", read his more suitable speech - justifying a war where the Angolan people is outside of what the National Law requires, for the invasion of the RDC by dos Santos troops was made illegally. 

The International Community that stubbornly keeps on imposing illegal and immoral sanctions on UNITA, feeding this 3rd civil war, chose to remain silent. Once again silence. The same silence felt when children were kidnapped. Children such as Ululi Sakaita, son of Dr. Jonas Malheiro Savimbi, that's living miserably in Luanda. 

The same silences which face the bombings of napalm over Angolan villages. The same silence that confronts the Angolan Misery imposed by a corrupt and sick system. Dos Santos system. Democracy in Angola? 

Democracy that's self justified with "filled rooms" of the National Angolan Assembly stacked with employees instead of deputies. We cannot go on feeding this beast much longer. Not even Mpla can accept being the door mat for a non-elected corrupted man, that degrades the Country's Image. 

The National Angola Assembly was confronted by a Resolution that opened the political doors for the needed Dialogue between the Angolan people. Once again, the Mpla followed the leader and silenced the debate with a committee created to set the essential in a month of Sundays - the Demand for immediate Dialogue, walking towards Peace, Democracy and the Development of the country. It's up to the Mpla to decide whether it's sticking up for the "leader", the dictator of corruption and destruction or if it's going to stand up for a new Course of Action for Angola? 

To keep on going side by side with the "leader", will mean a short-term self-destruction of the Mpla. That self-destruction will add nothing good to the political combat in a democratic Angola. The so-called "leader" couldn't care less. Visibly he is indifferent facing the destruction of the party he's supposed to lead. 

Does the Mpla care about it's own destruction? Does the Mpla want to commit suicide? As odd as it may sound it certainly appears so. Despite the "fresh-breath" voices that start criticising the "leader" along with the rest of the Opposition, self-destruction seems to be a viable option. 

If the Mpla keeps on lowering itself to international fakes, pointlessly sustained by the Wealth of Angola through grand "marketing campaigns", it will disappear together with Luanda's regime. Do the Mpla members want this to happen? It is completely plain, even for me down here in the Diaspora, that UNITA resists and doing that it's been making way for Democracy in Angola.

It's struggle for Democracy increases day after day. With or without sanctions, Democracy will happen in Angola Before this fact, does the Mpla really think that suicide is a good "career move"? Doesn't it want to reach for salvation by joining those who resist for Democracy? 

Destroying the Dictatorship that toys with it, as much as it puts a stop to Progress in Angola. The culture of the Mpla is odd... more was to be expected from this party, in these days of Change.
