O que está por detrás do actual conflito reside no facto de em todos os anteriores processos de negociação para a Paz não terem partido do pressuposto de um diálogo profundo sobre as causas profundas do mesmo conflito. Tendo-se, sempre, procurado tratar somente da forma de "solução" do conflito, as negociações havidas nunca potenciaram a base de uma Reconciliação dialogada e por todos sentida. 

Aliás, tendo as anteriores negociações sido centradas na solução dos problemas do exterior com Angola, onde a mola foi, portanto, a facilitação da exploração das Riquezas Naturais Angolanas, de tal só poderiam resultar soluções formais não condicentes com as causas profundas do conflito entre Angolanos. É tal que se tem de buscar hoje. Antes que a Pátria morra.

The Problem

Behind the present conflict resides in the fact that every single Peace negotiations did not approach the real deep causes of the conflict at hand. Simply looking for a solution to the conflict, all negotiations neglected a dialogue for a Reconciliation we all feel we need.

The previous negotiations centered mainly in exterior problems to Angola, meaning easier ways to exploit the Angolan Natural Resources. From such meetings, the only thing that emerged was formal solutions that did not coincide with the deep causes of the conflict. That is what we’re striving for, before our Motherland perishes.
